Grow Appalachia meetings will take place on the 4th Thursday of each month at 5:30pm Feb-October 2024, at the Scott Christian Care Center in Oneida, TN.

Applications are available through the Scott Christian Care Center. This is a wonderful program that goes across 5 states. The goal is to address food insecurity issues by growing as much fresh food as possible, and by teaching a new generation how to grow their own food. The program provides technical assistance to support both family and community gardens including:
gardening classes
plants
seeds
hand tools
organic fertilizer and pesticides
You can pick up an application up at the Scott Christian Care Center, UT Extension Office or UK-McCreary County Extension Office.
